Electronic Commission Meetings

In-person meetings have been cancelled and all meetings will be held electronically until further notice to stop the spread of COVID-19. At the end of each meeting, the Transit Commission will set the date for its next meeting. This webpage will be updated following each Commission meeting to state when the Commission will be meeting next. The next Electronic Meeting is Thursday June 16, 2022 at 2:00pm.

If there is an item on the Transit Commission Regular Agenda, please send an email to commission@yourbus.com outlining your thoughts, concerns and opinions regarding the item. You can attach a letter to your email or simply type a message and email it.

Submissions are due by 3 p.m. the day before the Commission Meeting. We have set this deadline to give the Commission Members enough time to read all of the items of correspondence submitted. The items of correspondence received will be shared with the Commission Members and the appropriate Transit staff members.

During Commission Meetings there is an agenda item called “Adoption of the Agenda.” At this time, the title of each item of correspondence and who it is from will be identified as additional correspondence. The additional items of correspondence will be listed in the minutes for the Commission Meeting and form part of the official record.

We recognize that not everyone has access to all forms of technology. If you know someone who wants to comment on an item on the Commission Agenda, but doesn’t have access to email, please consider emailing on their behalf. In your email to commission@yourbus.com, simply state the name of the individual for whom you are submitting the item of correspondence. We will then attribute that item of correspondence to the individual identified.
